Hey Isabella! I agree with the idea of direct instruction as an approach to teaching. As I am thinking of using the direct instruction approach for my coding-based project. It is a very great way of increasing the skills of a learner from a professional’s advice. Critical thinking abilities can also be increased. But it also depends on the learner’s determination of learning things and self-reflection is important as well.
