I am very excited to let you know my reviews for your “How to Succeed at university” Learning resource.  First of all, I really appreciate the idea of creating this resource, as it will be very beneficial to all the students who appear at the university first time. I had a very hard time at the beginning of my first year handling things and balancing them. The presentation is subtle and simple. It is very clear and easy to understand. I really loved the “learning steps” slide and the description in it of the advantages you enhance if following the steps.

I have some minute points that need to be updated, which, I hope might be helpful for your work. They are not that important but might happen to be useful from my experiences. Slide numbers would have been added which will be easier for a person to follow through and get back to the slides without searching them. The contents might have been numbered for an easy understanding. In the “Why learn this?” slide, you have asked the learners to take a quiz and asked them to scale from 0 to 10, so it would be appropriate if you have a description of the scaling in 0-10, instead of percentages. In the “Attention and Multimedia slide”, there is a typo error of ‘This’ as ‘his’, which might be confusing for the people reading it. You should have numbered the learning activities and in one of the activities, a description of what happens if you chat with a robot might be helpful. In “How to avoid pressure slide” the columns are not consistent: One of the columns has some bullet points and the other column has just a statement. Be consistent with the bullet points/dash marks throughout the presentation. In the slide “Video”, maybe you can explain what the video contains in a sentence or two. And a numbering of the references list will be helpful.

Being Attentive is a very important aspect of university life. The relationship between attention and memory is clearly explained. But if examples are provided for the three types of memories will be helpful for the learners to understand the concept clearly. And the overview of the assessment pan is missing, which will be great if you guys can add it. It was overall an interesting experience to review your presentation. I really hope these points have been helpful. Good luck!
